 FAQs

  • Luke Myslik; an aspiring entertainment critic, and a devoted connoisseur of film, video games, football, and metal.

  • One time at a game store, the pyromancer noticed a physical copy of a “Duke Nukem” video game, and in the words of the band, Firehouse “that was all she wrote”.

  • When being exposed to channels on YouTube, I decided to be a part of a community that I believed to be my personal calling. Being an incredibly shy, reserved individual for a majority of my childhood, reviewing movies (something that’s been a part of my adolescence for so long [and eventually albums from metal bands]) was perhaps one of the only ways that I could have my voice be heard and to find an audience equally as passionate about the entertainment industry as I am.

I started reviewing films in 2013 with my first film being “World War Z” in June. From that point forward, I began to jot down movies and their ratings in a little notebook of whatever movie was out and what genre it was. 2015 was my bold step forward. I decided to take on a persona, planned out what my channel would be like and with the inspirations of Spill.Com and other YouTube channels that cover entertainment, “Luke Nukem Movie Reviews” was born and is still active to this day.

  • Planet of the Apes (1968) and the rebooted trilogy; “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” and “War for the Planet of the Apes” being the uncontested best in the entire Planet of the Apes franchise.

  • Judas Priest will remain, forever and always, the greatest heavy metal band of all time. From their diverse production of every album, to their hair-raising lyrics and majestically performed instrumentation, there is a reason why many know them as the Metal Gods. Their release of 1990’s Painkiller is single-handedly the greatest metal album and song in the history of music.

Other contenders: Dokken, Blind Guardian, Eclipse, Gorgoroth, Mötorhead, Accept, Immortal, Powerwolf, Sargeist, Demons & Wizards and more to follow.

  • I’m also a die-hard football fan. My favorite teams are the Baltimore Ravens and Washington Huskies. I’d love to become an author one day and write my first novel to the public. I have a surprising knowledge of animals and marine life. Furthermore, I’m an artist, an aspiring drummer, and a Male Tenor in training.
